Community Outreach

The Food Pantry feeds about 230 people per month and the need is increasing!

The Food Pantry ministry collects dry food goods from donations placed in the Food Pantry bin and distributes it weekly to support those in need in the community.

Donate: Consider buying a second bag of groceries when you shop for your family. Donations can be dropped off in the Food Pantry bin at the church entrance. Needed items are cold cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jam, jelly, canned pasta, stew, chili, hearty soup, pasta, rice, canned meat & fish, canned fruit, pasta sauce, soap, cleanser, lotions, diapers, toilet paper, and tissue paper. Please avoid restaurant size cans and no expired items.

When: Dry goods are distributed every Monday (4:00 - 5:00pm) and Thursday (10:00 - 11:00am). Volunteers are needed to help fill bags and distribute them.

The donation bin is emptied out, sorted, and transferred to the food pantry several times a week. Would you consider taking a day once a week to do this? Available days are Sunday, Wednesday, or Friday anytime between 8am - 9pm.  This is a great family ministry!

Provides lunches to the Tuesday Meal guests to have a meal for the following day. We make about 65 lunches each week.

Donations needed include: granola bars, individually packaged cheese/peanut butter and crackers, water, fruit, packaged nuts, and trail mix.

Small groups can donate on a rotational basis one week per month, either by dropping off the food or coming in on Tuesday evenings and assembling/handing out the lunches.

There is a great need as the amount of people attending the Tuesday Meal Program continues to grow and includes many children.
