Global Internship

What is the Global Internship?

Founded by Calvary Community Church in 2018, the Global Internship is uniquely designed for young adults to grow in faith, discipleship and service participating with both local and global ministries. The purpose of the Global Internship is to:

  • Send individuals who are discerning a call to missions ministry and give practical on-field opportunities and experiences.
  • Provide opportunities that extend beyond a normal 1-2 week mission trip to allow deeper relationships to form and more significant work to be accomplished.
  • Identify strategic objectives that will serve the vision of our Mission Partners and help strengthen our church partnerships.

Ministry with Mission Partners: June 23 - July 28, 2019

Home-Base Debrief Week: July 29 - August 1, 2019

Recognition at Calvary Services: August 3 & 4, 2019

What is the cost?

Global Internship $3,500

Calvary provides a $1,500 scholarship to each of the Global Interns, but the interns are required to raise the remaining balance of their trip cost. The Calvary staff will provide sample support letters for each intern to send to their friends and family to help raise the rest of their funds.

What are the Global Intern Requirements?

Must be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Must be 18-years or older.

Must be a member of Calvary Community Church- Discover Calvary 101 & Discover My Spiritual Maturity 201 (If you have not gone through these classes you can sign-up for a future date prior to the internship).

What vaccinations are required?

Uganda - Yellow Fever Vaccine (Required)

Zimbabwe & Dominican Republic - Hepatitis A, Malaria & Typhoid (Optional)

Palestine/Israel & Spain - No Vaccinations Required
