Calvary Team at the house in December

Casa Shekinah in Ensenada, Mexico

Casa Shekinah is a Christian home for Kumiai teens pursuing their high school educations.  Our partners of Mt Sion Church, the Ojeda family, established a church and pastor in the difficult to reach and severely impoverish community of Kumaia Native America Tribe.  This home provides a future and hope to the teens.  Many years ago, Calvary built this home and now we are looking to come along side them to help keep it up and add improvements.  You may also contribute to the list below by attending an upcoming trip

This is a list of needs your contributions will support:

  • Chairs for their living room
  • Repair of women's bathroom showers
  • Kitchen ceiling
  • Buy a washing machine
  • Repair of the electricity system in some areas of the house
  • Repair of the vehicle that transports the students
  • Buy mattresses for the beds

Goal: $5,000

Bicycles for Church Planters in South Asia

Our partner ministry in South Asia has a God-sized vision of planting100,000 churches by the year 2030. They do this by training over a thousand new church planters each year and sending them out to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to unreached and unengaged villages. We help support this incredible ministry by providing bicycles for graduates of their yearlong church planters training. These bicycles provide reliable transportation for each worker to cover greater distances and allows them to be more effective messengers of the Gospel. Each bicycle costs $150. They are purchased in-country and distributed at each graduation ceremony.

Goal: 100 bicycles

The Shoes That Grow
Supporting Haiti, Uganda & Dominican Republic

Because International was founded in 2009. They are a 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Nampa, Idaho. The founders began their journey with listening to those living in extreme poverty… to hear their thoughts, ideas, and dreams for a better life. Then the group worked together to help make those ideas into a reality. The sole purpose for their first project, the “shoes that grow,” is to help kids stay healthy through sustainable and solid footwear.

Over 2 billion people suffer from soil-transmitted diseases and parasites. They live in areas that do not have adequate sanitation. They struggle with proper hygiene, and do not have the right clothing, resources, or healthcare. Because International realized that being sick = struggling. Kids miss school, can’t help their families, and suffer with pain. Many of these diseases and parasites get into the body because people don’t have shoes.

There are over 300 million children who do not have shoes, and countless more with shoes that do not fit. Sometimes they receive donations of shoes, but like all kids - their feet grow. They would outgrow donated shoes within a year, and end up right back where they started.

Goal: 750 pairs of shoes (250 per location). $15 each.
